About Aleixo Arena

If your child is interested in figure skating, FMC Skating Clubs have just the program for them! Our Learn to Skate classes are designed to give kids a great introduction to the sport. From there, they can move on to specialized figure skating classes available in select locations. These classes offer an extra layer of learning to help skaters hone their skills. As skaters progress, they can take advantage of Club Ice sessions, a practice time for intermediate to advanced skaters to work on their skills. Participants must be members of the FMC Skating Club and have a private coach to help them. With FMC Skating Club, your child can become the best figure skater they can be!

HOCKEY STEP 1
Hockey 1 is for skaters age 5 and up with formal skating, experience or instructions, or, participants who have completed at least step 1of the FMC Curriculum and wish to play hockey. This class introduce participants to hockey skating in a fun, group setting

Learn to Skate - Small & Tall
For children ages 3 to 5 with little to no formal skating instruction who wish to take their learn to skate class with a relative or caregiver over the age of 14. Registration includes both Small and Tall participant. Each Small participant will be required to be accompanied by a Tall.

Learn to Skate - Tot
For skaters age 4-6 years with little or no formal skating experience and/or instruction, Step 1 : Learn to Skate introduces participants to ice skating in a fun and comfortable group setting. Step 1 classes are 25 minutes long. Instructors use songs, games, toys and more to provide age appropriate fun and help young skaters acclimate to the ice in a comfortable and safe atmosphere.
