KIDS GO WILD!
Kids Go Wild is a multi-week, hands-on educational outreach program that brings ambassador animals, artifacts, and other educational materials to schools, community centers, and other locations. This unique program features at least one cross-hatched science and literacy activity or lesson as well as a variety of animal ambassadors and artifacts. Participants keep a journal throughout the Kids Go Wild program, answering follow-up and critical thinking questions regarding the lesson. These journals are reviewed by program staff at the conclusion of the program to gauge success and expected outcomes.

A Guided Enrichment Tour includes a basic guided tour with a Zoo Educator and a chance to meet some animal ambassadors up close! You will be able to choose from a list of animal ambassadors to meet up close. A Zoo Educator will choose an activity for your selected animal. This could include diet prep, daily husbandry duties or designing & implementing an enrichment activity.

Wildlife on Wheels programs are designed to provide information about the animals, including their special adaptations, habitats, behaviors, diets and status in the wild. Topics can be arranged to correspond with classroom projects.
