About The Dance Company in Springfield, MA
At The Dance Company, we strive to promote a healthy, positive lifestyle through our classes. Our goal is to help our students learn to express themselves through movement and develop a lifelong appreciation for dance. Our classes help students build strength, coordination, self-confidence, and a sense of accomplishment. We also offer performance opportunities so that our students can share their artistry with the local community. We are especially thankful for all of the generations of dancers that have been a part of our studio over the past 34 years. It is with their continued support that we are able to continue our journey. Our doors are always open and we hope to see you soon!

Programs at The Dance Company in Springfield, MA
BeAKid
Creative Movement
Created for young dancers, ages 2.5-3, the creative movement class teaches the basics of body movement while incorporating early education lessons.
BeAKid
Ballet
Ballet is the fundamental of all dance styles. We focus on leg placement, posture, balance, and technique. We start with barre work and floor exercises that are age appropriate. Every dancer over the age of 9 should take ballet at least once a week to gain a proper understanding of proper dance technique. Dancers that are 12 years or older are invited to our Pointe classes upon Ballet instructor's approval.

Acrobatics
This class will teach dancers how to properly and carefully complete stunts and create a strong, flexible body while incorporating jazz choreography. This class is about control and hard work and we require full attention and dedication from dancers participating. All dancers in Acro classes are encouraged to take a Ballet class.
