Located in the Pioneer Valley, the Berkshires and Cape Cod areas, the Home serves children, adolescents, and families with special needs, helping them to cope with behavioral, psychiatric, and cognitive issues that may have been a result of their experiences. The Children's Study Home is committed to providing individualized service plans for each child or adolescent, taking the time to assess their needs and creating a plan that will foster their recovery, growth, and overall wellness. The team of professionals strive to provide a supportive environment where children can learn and grow, and families can feel supported and connected. With the help of the Home, families and children can gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.

Educational Programs
The Children’s Study Home offers a variety a special education programs for children and adolescents in the the Berkshires and Pioneer Valley. We know that no two children are exactly alike, and each has their own individual needs. To that end, we offer a variety of supports both educationally and therapeutically.

Foster Care
We work in a unique foster care program called Comprehensive Foster Care. This program allows foster families to provide a home to one or two children. We work mostly with children and families in Western Massachusetts and always try and match children with a foster family in their current school district.

Strengthening families, empowering parents, and supporting stable environments for children are at the core of the community-based Family Services Programs at The Children’s Study Home.
