About Springfield Submission Society

The Springfield Submission Society is the perfect place for parents to introduce their children to the martial arts. With a focus on self-defense and personal safety, our school is dedicated to helping students gain the physical and mental discipline that martial arts can offer. We provide a safe and supportive environment for kids to learn and grow both physically and mentally. The Springfield Submission Society is also committed to providing a quality learning experience at an affordable cost. We offer classes for all ages and levels, so everyone can benefit from the martial arts. With the support of our knowledgeable instructors, we strive to foster a sense of respect, discipline, and camaraderie among our students. Our classes are designed to help students reach their full potential, both on and off the mats.

Kids BJJ Classes

We are curently offering kids only anti-bullying brazilian jiu-jitsu classes. If you are interested in getting your children into these classes we recommend they be at least 5-6 years of age, as they will be able to understand the skills being taught to them, and the proper application of their use. However, competition should be introduced at a later stage, from 8 to 10. Not only will an 8-10 year old child have the maturity to deal with the frustration of defeat, they will also be more predisposed to following the rules set.
