At the YMCA of Greater Springfield, we have been making a positive impact on our community since 1852. As the fourth oldest YMCA in the world, the second oldest in the country, and the third oldest in North America, we provide programs and services that strengthen the community and empower individuals. We serve 22,000 members and program participants annually, with core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Our Y offers something for everyone, from babies to seniors, and everything in between. We provide educational experiences for children, a safe haven for kids after school, thrilling outdoor activities during summer camp, healthy living guidance for families, and social outlets for members of the community. We know that our work is essential for the individuals and families in our area, and we are proud to have been making a difference for over 160 years.
