About Childrens House in Springfield, MA

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is a non-profit corporation that is devoted to advocating for the needs and interests of children from birth to age 8. Their Program Standards have been crafted to give early childhood educators a set of guidelines to follow when working with young children. The NAEYC Accreditation process ensures that programs for young children are founded on up-to-date knowledge and research on child development and early childhood education. To meet these standards, each of our centers strives to provide a safe and healthy environment where children can thrive, with teachers who are adequately trained and have access to quality teaching materials. Furthermore, we challenge our children with a curriculum that is appropriate to their developmental stage.
