Riding Lessons

Vining Hill Equestrian Center, Inc. offers horseback riding lessons for the beginner through advanced levels for adults and children. We teach both English and Western lessons with the emphasis on matching your riding ability with that of one of our well trained school horses. Our licensed instructors are well versed in flat work, Jumping, Dressage and Western riding.

Summer Horse Program

The 2022 Summer Horse Program at Vining Hill Equestrian Center, Inc. is open to students and non-students alike. Each one-week session is from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Class size is limited to 15 riders per week that are broken up into teams of five. There are sessions for beginner and advanced riders as well as arts and crafts activities with each session. The week culminates with a horse show and pizza party.

Training

Horses and ponies are accepted for training at Vining Hill Equestrian Center, Inc.. We not only take unbroken and green broke horses, but also horses with training problems or bad habits. Our trainers have years of riding experience and have ridden thousands of horses. The issues your young or problemed horse may have are issues we have already dealt with and can confidently train. All “In For Training” horses are required to have a current negative Coggins Test and a Rabies Certificate. As all horses and problems are different, all training fees and length of training will vary in order to meet your horses' individual and unique needs.
