About Pingree Day Camp in South Hamilton, MA

With over 30 years of experience, Pingree is proud to offer one of the most comprehensive summer day camps on the North Shore. A wide variety of facilities are available to campers, including a gymnasium, swimming pool, pond for kayaking, athletic fields, computer labs, theater, dance, music and art rooms, as well as air-conditioned academic rooms. Our experienced staff will help your children explore and develop their skills in a safe and nurturing environment. At Pingree, we believe that camp should be a fun and rewarding experience. Our comprehensive summer day camp offers a unique opportunity for campers of all ages to build confidence, increase self-esteem, and have a great time. Performing Arts

Pingree students have the opportunity to study traditional forms of dance such as ballet and modern, as well as non-western dance practices and techniques. All study is further informed by exposure to the fields of somatics, ethnography, and artistic performance. Through physical engagement, students discover a deeper understanding of themselves, other cultures, and the nature of movement. Classes are sizeable, with a mix of male and female students. Both classwork and homework are assigned in every level of dance.
