Kennedy Pool Waterbabies

In waterbabies, our instructors follow a plan to introduce new swimming and water safety skills that are developmental appropriate for young children. Each class is loaded with enjoyable engaging, engaging, and challenging activities. The waterbabies levels continue laying the foundation for developing water competency and further skill development. Children explore aquatic locomotion skills by using simultaneous and alternating arm and leg actions on the front and back to gain greater proficiency in preparation to performing strokes. 1 parent per child must be in the water with the waterbabies swim student at all times.

KidStop/Sprout Sports Program

This six- week program offers children activities such as active games, arts & crafts and weekly themes. This is a drop off program. Children must be independently toilet trained. Children will also learn the fundamentals of sports with Somerville Parks & Recreation staff with emphasis on developing motor skills and having fun before they get into organized sports. Children will learn the basics of hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball, and football.

TotTime Program

This program prepares children for Pre-School and Kindergarten. Guided activities are planned daily to include arts and crafts, music, working with letters and numbers, and so much more. TotTime is a social based program not a curriculum based program. All participants must be potty trained to attend.
