Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, established in 1916 as Mass Audubon’s oldest sanctuary, offers a wealth of possibilities for exploration. Ready for some outdoor adventure? We’ve got all kinds of fun programs and activities for you and your friends and family! You can do activities like Nature Bingo, go on a Quest, or print out a discovery booklet. We also have vacation week programs.

School & Group Programs at Moose Hill

Moose Hill is a unique wildlife sanctuary of nearly 2,000 acres and encompasses protected forests, fields, and wetlands. We offer a multitude of fun and educational nature-based programs year round for groups of children ages 3+. Programs can take place inside or outside at the sanctuary or at your site. An extensive trail system allows us to take your group through the shaded forest, across boardwalks, up hills, or into sunlit meadows. Our trained teacher naturalists love to share their sense of wonder in and knowledge of the natural world with students of all ages!

Vacation Week Programs at Moose Hill

For Children Ages 5–12* Looking for something fun to do over school vacation week in December, February, and April? Get outside and have fun in nature at Moose Hill Vacation Days! Each day is a blend of hands-on activities, outdoor explorations, creative art projects, and games. Come be amazed by the wonders of nature and our creative staff. Children are divided into groups of similar ages, and all the activities are adapted for their age.
