About Dramafun!

Courtenay moved to Cape Cod in 2005 and since then has been teaching kids of all ages. Her students have gone on to pursue professional careers in music and theater and are currently attending university level programs. Courtenay is a professional actress, having worked in New York City for many years before her arrival on Cape Cod. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Vocal Music Performance and Theatre Arts and has performed professionally for audiences across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. In February 2012, Courtenay co-wrote and performed the play "Death-it Happens" as part of the NYC Frigid Festival which won the audience choice award. Courtenay is an experienced teacher and is on the faculty of The Bridgeview Montessori School in Sagamore teaching General Music, Movement, and Drama to students ages 2.9-12. She is also a proud member of Actor's Equity Association since 1993. With her wealth of experience, Courtenay is a valuable asset to the Cape Cod community and is helping to nurture the next generation of actors and performers.

Act Out !
Act Out ! With Karen Santos Grades 3-6 Summer session Have fun with theatre games, improvisation, character development and scene building! Bring stories to life using your imagination, basic acting techniques, theatre language, and stage directions. The class focus is on participation and team work, and the students will create a short, final performance piece showcasing what they have learned. No prior acting experience is required, just the desire to have a blast!

Musical Theatre Camp A-Grades 5 & Up
We are looking for enthusiastic and talented young singer/actor/dancers to take part in this two week intensive musical theatre production camp. Campers will learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a full scale production of Madagascar Jr. Campers will learn music, choreography, blocking and enjoy fun theater games to build a strong team. Our spacious deck will allow for outdoor time during breaks while our newly renovated air conditioned studio will keep us moving on the hottest days. This is a multi-age production with plenty of opportunities for students of all abilities. Our students vary in age and experience but all share a passion for the performing arts. All registered campers will receive a role!

CREATIVE DRAMA CAMP-GRADES K-3RD
Creative kids need a positive outlet! This class is full of creative movement, imagination journeys, story enactment, theatre games and more! We will create a play adaptation from children's literature and explore all aspects of producing a short skit to share at the end of the week. We will follow all COVID health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe experience for all.
