About
Youth in Motion is an 8,000 square foot space where kids ages 5 to 14 enjoy active play and personalized learning with the goal of creating healthy lifestyle choices — all while having tons of fun! The program is open Monday through Friday from school dismissal until 6:00 pm, with full-day services available from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm during school vacation weeks, school professional development days and the summer months.
With reductions in opportunities for physical activity during the school day, Youth in Motion gets children moving during the out-of-school time hours to better improve their mental, physical and overall wellbeing. Kids play basketball and group games in the Gymnasium, while the Dance and Yoga Studio offers movement and mindfulness opportunities. The Reflection Room provides space for high-needs learners to relax, self-regulate and decompress.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Your child needs more than academics to be successful at school and in the real world. Social and emotional skills, such as self-awareness, teamwork, motivation, self-regulation and empathy are necessary to successfully function in today’s society. With stress at an all-time high, we teach kids the skills they need – meditation, yoga, stress relief – to cope with challenges today and in the future. By learning these strategies at a young age, FKO puts your child on a road to a balanced life.
SUMMER PROGRAM
Give your child the summer of their dreams – field trips, social time with their friends, new skill exploration, and a great amount of time outdoors. Our summer program is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and is designed to help your child grow and learn while having fun during their vacation. Each site is open from 7 am to 5:30 pm, with only full-day programs available.
