At Community Action Programs Inter City, Inc. (CAPIC), we are dedicated to identifying and eliminating the root causes of poverty in Chelsea, Revere, and Winthrop. Our twenty-one member Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from the public, private, and low-income sectors of the communities we serve, ensuring that decision-making is reflective of the needs of our clients. CAPIC is also engaged in a variety of housing and weatherization services, including programs in East Boston and twenty-five other regional communities. Our goal is to help people become more self-sufficient, by providing a variety of services to those who are struggling financially and emotionally. Since 1967, CAPIC has been committed to accommodating the changing needs of our communities. We strive to meet the needs of our clients by providing a variety of services and resources, in order to help them build a better and brighter future.
