About Greenlock Therapeutic Riding

Greenlock Therapeutic Riding Center is a non-profit organization that uses horses to help treat individuals with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges. Through hippotherapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy, as well as therapeutic riding, Greenlock gives physically, mentally, and emotionally-challenged persons from Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts the chance to learn specific riding skills in a safe environment. The center is located on thirty acres of fields and woodlands in Rehoboth, MA, and includes an indoor arena, an outdoor ring, and trails for riding. The therapy horses used by Greenlock are stabled onsite, and the organization is dedicated to selecting the best possible horses for the job.

Hippotherapy Services
Greenlock provides therapeutic intervention for children and adults starting at age 2. Therapy services include occupational, physical, and speech therapy. Utilizing the movement of our equine partners, clients work toward their therapy goals. Strengthening, balance, coordination, breath control, and attention are just a few skills that can be mastered using our unique therapeutic approach.
