BeAKid
Cole-Harrington Family Child Care Services
The Cole-Harrington Family Child Care System contracts with Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) licensed family childcare educators in 30 towns located in Barnstable, Bristol, Norfolk and Plymouth counties. Family child care educators offer a safe, supervised, nurturing “home away from home” setting for young children 2 months to 12 years of age. Children have the opportunity to interact with a small group of children within a supportive and stimulating environment. Family Child Care Staff support the implementation of the High Scope Curriculum that promotes children’s development and prepares them for school. Each child is encouraged to participate in age appropriate activities which enhance physical, cognitive, literacy, emotional, and social development.
