About Pittsfield Suns Baseball Pittsfield in Pittsfield, MA
The Pittsfield Suns are a collegiate summer baseball team which provides an opportunity for the local community to support local athletes. The team competes in the Future Collegiate Baseball League of New England (FCBL), a league formed in 2011 to prepare college baseball players for playing professional baseball and give them the chance to be seen by Major League scouts. The Suns moved into Wahconah Park in 2012 and the roster is made up of New England athletes currently playing collegiate baseball, at the Division 1, 2 or 3 levels, with local community ties. With eight teams all from New England, the league is a great way for New Englanders to support their local athletes.

The Pittsfield Suns play a total of 64 games spanning from the end of May, to early August. Since coming into the league, we've hosted some of the top collegiate talent in the country and we're always looking for more players! Playing for the Suns is a great opportunity to be exposed to professional scouts as well as becoming a fan-favorite for one of the top fan-bases in all of collegiate summer ball.
