For nearly a century, Camp Winadu has been a place for kids to build important life skills, learn new sports, and create cherished memories in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains. Since 1927, Camp Winadu has been providing an unforgettable summer experience for children of all ages. Camp Winadu is a place where kids can make lasting friendships and participate in exciting activities. From aquatics to archery and every sport in between, there's something for everyone to enjoy. And of course, no summer camp experience is complete without traditional camp activities like campfires and sing-alongs. Time flies when you're having fun, and Camp Winadu is no exception. Before kids know it, their summer is over and they're saying goodbye to their newfound camp friends. But the memories they made at Camp Winadu will last a lifetime – these friends become part of the family.

Programs at Camp Winadu in Pittsfield, MA
BeAKid
Family Camp
Families will travel as a unit to activities throughout the day. We will assign families to program areas for the structured periods so they can experience all that Family Camp has to offer. Families may also choose to do their own activities on any of our open spaces, courts, or fields. Staff will be available at many program areas to help lead activities. There will also be some activities that are parent guided with helpful instructions and supplies. Every night, we will offer all camp Evening Programs and on certain days there will be special events that mimic some of the most popular Winadu traditions such as Zork Day and Color War.

CAMPERSHIP
Friday nights are for Campership. Everyone gathers for a traditional, all-camp event complete with live music, singing, dancing, laughing, and camaraderie. We review the past week’s events, hear about exciting activities to come, and give out special recognition to campers who have exemplified the true meaning of Campership – caring about others.

SONGFEST
Every division writes two songs, an alma mater and a group song, in preparation for this special tradition. Groups then perform their original songs for the entire camp. Songfest creates an enormous pride within our campers and gives the boys songs to sing all year long.
