About Camp Danbee

At Danbee, our focus is on helping young women build the confidence they need to take on the world. Our programming is designed to help girls build life skills and to be their best selves. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where girls can explore new ideas, try new activities, and grow as individuals. We strive to equip our campers with the tools they need to become independent, strong, and resilient women. The Danbee community is proud of our campers and all that they accomplish. Our staff and campers work hard every day to ensure that our campers receive a summer experience that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. From all reports, we are succeeding in our goal to prepare young women to take on the world with passion and perseverance.

Fun & Fitness – Danbeestyle!

Danbee girls love the “state of the art” fitness center!!! Certified fitness instructors encourage campers to embrace a healthy lifestyle. Fitness is a program that positively impacts each girl. While campers are active at camp all day long, the fitness program gives them tools to incorporate some form of physical activity into their lives at home.

Tennis

Tennis is a big hit at Danbee with girls of all ability levels. Personal attention is what makes Danbee tennis so special. USPTA certified Tennis Directors oversee a staff of mostly college-level players. Talented instructors offer small classes with never more than four girls on a court. Tennis classes emphasize sharpening groundstrokes, volleys, and serve, and improving consistency through quality individualized instruction.

Paints, Brushes and Tie Dye….Oh My!!!

The Art program at Danbee has something for a budding Picasso or a camper making friendship bracelet with her friends. The goal of art at Danbee is to allow girls to express their individual artistic talents in many different ways. We structure our program so that creativity, self-expression, technical skills, and self-esteem are all enhanced through exploration of the arts.
