As a 501(c)3 charity, we provide assistance to islanders regardless of their ability to pay. We are proud to be a part of a national YMCA network, which works to strengthen local communities and help people grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit. At the YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard, we are committed to ensuring that all islanders are welcome and supported. As a local, independent nonprofit organization, we are part of a larger network of over 10,000 YMCAs across the United States. Our mission is to provide assistance to those in need and help people to reach their fullest potential through developing all aspects of their life: physical, mental, and spiritual. We are proud to be part of this national movement of YMCAs and to be able to make a difference in our community.
