About The Martial Arts Connection - TMAC in Norton, MA
At TMAC in Norton, Massachusetts, we are a martial arts and karate school for all ages, established in 2009 by Joyce Smith and Mark Murphy. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable and safe atmosphere for children and adults to take part in a wide variety of classes. From youth and adult martial arts to strength and conditioning and yoga classes, TMAC has something for everyone! We understand the importance of family and strive to create an environment that fosters a strong connection among our members. Our commitment to our members is to provide a clean and secure place to learn that is also filled with fun and excitement. At TMAC, we believe that martial arts and karate are not only a great way to stay in shape, but also a way to grow in confidence and discipline. We encourage our members to strive for excellence and push their limits in order to reach their goals. Our classes are designed to help everyone learn at their own pace and reach their potential. We are proud of the work we do and look forward to continuing to serve the Norton, Massachusetts community.

"Little Ninjas" Age 3-4 w/Parent Participation
This class is Miss Joyce's Creation! Over the years of teaching our Karate Kids, we have seen so much interest from the younger siblings who are not quite old enough yet to jump out onto the training floor by themselves! That is when Miss Joyce created a 30 minute class specifically for ages 3 - young 4yr olds that includes parent participation!

"Beginners" Age 7-12 Martial Arts
Training in a hybrid system of Tae Kwon Do, Chinese Kempo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu... your child will learn how to defend against every common attack or bullying situation they will encounter at their respective age group. Grab Defenses, Punch and Kick Defenses, Takedowns and Takedown Defense and Basic Grappling and Ground fighting!

"Karate Kids" Age 4-6 Martial Arts
At this age, we focus on one thing... FOCUS! While students are training in this class, we will cover basic self defense, basic TaeKwonDo kicks and katas and most importantly - We spend time on the things that parents want most out of their children - Respect, Confidence and Self-Control! Students in this class work towards earning our Camo Belt and then once they have reached the appropriate age and rank, they will promote to the Beginners Program and start their Journey to their Jr. Black Belt!
