About The Houle School

Welcome to Houle School, located in Northampton, MA! We've been providing high-quality childcare for seventeen years, and it all began when my son Zak was born. I had spent the previous thirty years in the field, working at Woodside Children's Center at Amherst College for a decade as a nanny and early education major. My experience there gave me the inspiration to start my own childcare center, and I began with Zak and his friend Jarrett. That was the beginning of our story, and it's been a successful journey ever since! For parents looking for a secure, reliable and experienced childcare solution, Houle School is the perfect choice. With thirty years of experience in the field and seventeen years running our own daycare, you can be sure your child will be in safe hands. We started our journey with my son Zak and his friend Jarrett, and have been growing ever since. We'd love to welcome your family to the Houle School family!

Childcare Program
We provide a safe and healthy environment for kids to play , learn , and socialize with peers . We encourage free play , circle time with lots of singing , reading , cooking projects, and art activities ( we love to get messy )! We go outside daily , go for walks into town and have developed age appropriate curriculum around the children's interests and needs .
