About Windrush Farm

Windrush Farm is a unique place that provides Equine-assisted Services to children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. The center is accredited by PATH and offers therapeutic riding, unmounted programs, recreational riding lessons, and other horse-related activities. It also provides a great opportunity to volunteer and give back to the community. At Windrush Farm, the focus is on creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to learn, grow and heal. The staff and volunteers are committed to personalizing the experience for each individual, helping them to develop their skills and reach their goals. With the help of qualified professionals and the power of the horse, Windrush Farm is dedicated to improving the lives of those who come to the farm.

Occupational Therapy – Hippotherapy
The rhythmic and three-dimensional natural movement of the horse provides motor and sensory input for clients facing physical and cognitive challenges. Reinbow Therapy is owned by Monica Wu MSS. OTR/L HPCS, an experienced occupational therapist and seasoned horse professional. Therapy sessions are booked directly with Reinbow Therapy and are currently taking place in Bedford, Massachusetts. Clients range from two years old to adulthood.

Summer Programs – Pony Pals
Pony Pals is a five-day program, for beginner and intermediate riders aged 6-early teen that teaches riding and pony care in a fun and social setting. Pony Pals offers the opportunity to care for and ride a pony for a week and make new friends. Riders learn on well-trained ponies and horses and from experienced and caring riding instructors. We make every effort to integrate children of varying abilities.

Fall Programs
Enjoy getting back in the saddle this Fall! Fall Session: September 12 – December 16, 2022 β€’ Improve your core strength, balance and coordination, while having fun! β€’ Learn from caring, experienced instructors on well-trained horses β€’ Enjoy the changing colors of the leaves on crisp autumn days!
