About Empow Studios STEM Enrichment Center - Newton

At Empow Studios, we believe that STEM learning should be fun and engaging. We provide kids with the opportunity to explore the five STEM domains — Digital Art & Design, Minecraft, Coding, Robotics, and Video Game Design — and gain confidence in their technology skills through a variety of classes and summer camps. Our programs are designed to help kids find their passion and accelerate their learning. We are proud to be the most awarded STEM provider in Massachusetts, with more than 150 educational and enrichment organizations trusting us to provide quality STEM instruction. Our projects range from beginner to advanced, and our goal is for kids to have fun while developing their skills. At Empow Studios, we strive to make STEM learning an enjoyable experience that kids can feel proud of. Our classes and camps offer an exciting opportunity for children to gain knowledge of the five STEM domains and hone their technology skills. We are delighted to have the confidence of 150 educational and enrichment organizations, and honored to be the most awarded STEM program provider in Massachusetts!

Coding Path For kids entering grades 5-8
One of our most popular programs, Python 101 is perfect for kids interested in exploring all of Python’s capabilities. Campers will navigate the text-based programming in IDLE, Python’s integrated development environment, and learn to use the key building blocks of code, such as variables, conditionals, and loops. They will explore how to combine these elements to create interesting and complex programs to take home. More advanced students can tackle more complicated challenges including file I/O, arrays, and functions.
