At Boys & Girls Club of New Bedford, we believe that all young people should have the opportunity to realize their fullest potential. We believe that our role is to give young people the tools, both personally and professionally, to become the leaders of tomorrow and take on the challenges of our Nation head-on. We are committed to building an organization that is dedicated to uplifting and empowering youth through educational, recreational, and social opportunities. SUMMER FUN PROGRAM
Our Summer Fun Program is aimed at providing physical, recreational and educational activities in a safe, wholesome environment for boys and girls ages 7—13. No matter what summer looks like, our Club professionals are committed to doing whatever it takes to provide safe, fun, and educational summer programming for all of our members. Kids will form lasting friendships, forge healthy relationships with adult mentors, and experience new adventures in our summer programs.

12-Week Tech, Art & Music Camp
Dive into programming logic with Scratch, the drag-and-drop creative learning environment developed by MIT Media Lab. You’ll use code blocks and characters to gain a foundation in computational thinking, creating animated stories and games. Create Digital Art with Processing Processing is a programming language designed for the electronic arts.

Basketball League
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Bedford plays host to various basketball leagues throughout the year. It is the home of the Bay State Basketball League which has been recognized as one of the premier youth basketball leagues in Southeastern Massachusetts.
