At Needham Music, we offer private music lessons, ensemble groups, workshops, and classes for students of all ages in the Needham, Wellesley, Dover, Newton, Brookline, West Roxbury, and Dedham areas. Our highly trained instructors provide a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment and strive to make a positive impact on our students' lives.

Our goal is to help our students develop their skills and create a lifelong appreciation of music. We focus on creating confident, well-rounded, and happy kids who will be better prepared for life as adults. Through our classes and lessons, we strive to help our students discover the joys of music and foster a deep understanding and knowledge of it.

Private music lessons are "one-on-one" so the student can be matched to their style and learn at their own pace. Lessons are typically 30 minutes in duration and are held between 2 pm-8 pm Monday through Friday, and 9 am-5 pm on Saturdays. There is a Spring recital in June where students are encouraged to showcase their talents! Our teachers are all professional teachers with music degrees or professional performing experience and are experienced in teaching beginners. In addition to our private music lessons, we offer group Ensemble Classes and an "Artist Live" Summer Program where students perform original songs at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston!

As always, all Needham Music teachers are Berklee or Conservatory graduates. Needham Music has the ability to teach almost every instrument, in every style and difficulty level! Whether you're looking to start an instrument for the first time or are looking to home in on your instrument and take it to the next level, Needham Music is the place for you.

The past three years that our middle schooler has taken lessons with Nat have been wonderful. She made such great progress and adored the new music and various genres Nat introduced to her. Virtual's adaptability in these crazy times was a blessing.

Amazing teachers who teach a range of instruments. a well-kept office. Clear calendar that indicates the dates of lessons and the weeks that are off for holidays. Families didn't have to sit through as many performances thanks to the thoughtful grouping of the recitals, but each performer still had a respectable-sized audience.
