About Carter Memorial Nursery School

At Carter Nursery School, we strive to create a nurturing and supportive setting that encourages each child to grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. We provide a safe and consistent environment for our students to play and learn, as well as plenty of opportunities to build their self-esteem and independence. We also invite families to become part of our school through our Helping Parent program, which allows them to be an active partner in their child’s learning journey. With our unique approach to early childhood education, we’re dedicated to helping children gain the skills they need to become caring and responsible adults.

2.9 and 3 Year Old Program
The 2.9-year-old program meets Tuesday and Thursday (Teddies) from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and the 3-year-old program meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (Pandas) from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Parents in the Panda classroom may choose to enroll their child in the optional extended day program on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 until 2:00. The school year runs from September to June. ​​

4 Year Old Program
The 4-year-old program is in session Monday through Thursday from 8:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Parents may choose to enroll their child in the optional Extended Day Program which is offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. - to 2:30 p.m. The school year runs from September to June.
