Natick Drama Workshop (NDW) has been providing a unique opportunity to children and teens of Natick and the surrounding area for over 50 years. Our program is based on the idea that everyone involved should have fun and be creative. After auditioning, casts receive 10 weeks of instruction from our professional staff. Every year in November and March/April, NDW puts on performances at the Natick Middle Schools.
The casts we work with range from 40-60 students and they are supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, staff, and board members who design and create props, construct costumes, and promote ticket sales. All of this is done to create a visually appealing show that the community can come out and support. Ultimately, NDW is a place where the love of the arts brings together a diverse group of people who share a common bond.
Natick Drama Workshop is a theater program that teaches drama fundamentals to middle school children. It is run through the Natick Recreation and Parks Department. The cast is given instruction in acting, song and dance. Natick Drama Workshop produces two musicals each year: one in the fall and one in the spring.
