About Mascari Piano Studios
Mascari Piano Studios, located in Natick, Massachusetts, was founded by the talented pianist and composer, Joseph Mascari. Growing up in a musical family, Joseph began to learn and play professionally at the young age of 16. During this time, Joseph had the opportunity to attend performances of some of the jazz greats in New York City, and was amazed and inspired by the incredible vibe and level of excellence of the musicians. This left a lasting impression on Joseph, and he has devoted his life to emulating this experience in his own playing. By the time he was 20, Joseph had already begun to make a name for himself in the college jazz scene throughout New England. He had the unique opportunity to jam with some of the greats such as Lionel Hampton and Jimmy Smith, who recognized and appreciated Joseph's musical talent. Smith encouraged Joseph to compose his own music, and this led to the creation of a body of work which has been performed by his many jazz ensembles over the past five decades.
