About Loulou’s Music Together

Parents understand that their children are naturally inclined to explore music. From singing in the car to beating out rhythms on pots and pans, children explore and express themselves musically. To nurture this natural aptitude, parents can create a rich music environment. This can include singing and dancing together, attending concerts or musicals, listening to a variety of genres and instruments, and exploring instruments like bells and drums. When given the opportunity to explore in this way, children learn to sing and dance as naturally as they learn to walk and talk. This is because music is an integral part of a child’s development. It helps to strengthen motor skills, explore language, express emotions, and develop creative thinking. By creating a supportive music environment, parents can help their children to grow and develop in meaningful ways. As children explore musical sounds, they learn to express themselves in new ways. Music encourages children to move, think, and experience the world around them in a joyful and meaningful way.

Private Ukulele Lessons

Please contact the director, Louise-Marie Mennier, to arrange private ukulele lessons. Private lessons are 30 minutes long. We also offer 50-minute private classes recommended only for ages 6 & older.

Loulou’s Music Together Program

Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers all love Music Together! Our playful music classes for kids support every child, no matter their learning style or stage of development. Each weekly class includes lots of music activities especially created for young children, led by a trained teacher who inspires everyone to join in the fun.
