Jass P03/24/20225It is lovely to walk about. Stunning view from the summit. You can climb a historic fort to get a good view of the Boston skyline and the surrounding scenery. Bring lunch and eat at the tables that are provided at the top. At the bottom, there is a little zoo featuring a real American bald eagle.
Micah D05/26/20225At the base of the hills, near to the ski slope, is the trailside museum. The animals were the main reason we went. Because of the avian flu, the majority of the raptors were not in their cages. The deer, foxes, otter, and other animals were still outside.
Luna S03/30/20225They now have additional animals; it's like a miniature zoo; they have an astounding amount of goods for what initially appears to be such a small space; it's also incredibly affordable.
Gaven H04/21/20225Easy 20-minute hike from the museum to the summit of Blue Hill Mountain! While canines are not permitted inside the museum, they are permitted on the trail. Museum and trek suitable for children. There is strong mobile coverage and many gas stations nearby.
Kurt J06/22/20225It excelled. Numerous animals were observed, however the majority of the wild birds were gone due to bird flu precautions. Both the new otter display and the turtle exhibit are fantastic. You must be a member of Massachusetts Audobon or pay a fee to join the museum, but it was wonderful and included many displays.
