At Magical Beginnings Inc., we foster a fun-filled environment for children to grow and develop. We provide the perfect setting for children to learn and practice important social skills like sharing, taking turns, and cooperating. We offer childcare services that parents can trust and feel comfortable with, while also encouraging them to stay involved in their child’s day. Furthermore, we offer a Nut Free policy to ensure the safety of all our children. We ask that parents provide all necessary food items and drinks for their children each day, along with an insulated lunchbox and ice pack. This way, we can guarantee that no food items with traces of nuts or processed on the same equipment as nuts are brought into our centers.
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Infant Program
Our infant classrooms incorporate music and movement, reading and sensory play throughout each child’s day. Infants are all unique and each on his or her own schedule. Our teachers follow the individual schedule for each infant as it has been written by the child’s parent/guardian. As infants get older and closer to toddler age our teachers will work with parents/guardians to prepare for the transition to the toddler program.
Toddler Program
Our toddler and preschool programs utilize a multi-age approach which allows our students to learn from their older peers while also serving as role model students and teachers to their younger peers. This approach also allows us to minimize the number of classroom changes for the children and enables them to build strong relationships with the other children in their classroom who are younger and older than them. Semi-annual assessments are completed on all toddlers and preschool students. Our teachers also utilize Class Dojo, a parent communications app to share lesson plans, monthly newsletters, photos, and daily logs of the childrens’ activities.
Preschool Program
Our preschool classes also utilize Handwriting Without Tears to strengthen fine motor skills and teach pre-writing skills. Through a variety of hands on learning activities children learn upper and lower case letters using a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to address all learning types.
