About Boxford Common in Middleton, MA

At the Boxford town meeting last year, the residents of Boxford unanimously voted to purchase seventy-five acres of woodlands off Middleton Road, near Cole School. Everyone rose to their feet in appreciation of the great decision, giving the motion a standing ovation. This purchase will guarantee that many acres of the land remain undisturbed and preserved as open space. Fifteen acres of the land is designated for athletic fields, to be used and enjoyed by the community for generations to come. The residents of Boxford are thrilled to have been able to purchase this land, which is sure to be an asset to the community for years to come. With the open spaces preserved and the new athletic fields, Boxford is in for a bright future.
