About Bay State Skating School (Medford)

For 50 years, BAY STATE SKATING SCHOOL has been helping young skaters of all levels develop their skills. Our experienced, professional instructors are passionate about providing quality instruction and fostering a safe, yet fun learning experience. Class sizes are kept small to ensure individual attention and group instruction is tailored to the ability and age of each student. We emphasize building confidence, safety, and having a great time while learning to skate. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skater, we have a program that’s right for you. SUPERVISED PRACTICE TIME
Hockey or recreational sharpened skates can be worn but no double runners. Helmets mandatory for ages 4-9 and strongly recommended for all students. Siblings of different age and ability have the opportunity to enroll at the same class time but will have different instructors.
