The Massachusetts Music and Arts Society's Performing Arts School is here to help all ages explore the wonder of performing arts! With a wide variety of classes available, there is something for everyone. Whether it's theatre, dance, or music, boys and girls of all ages can explore their creativity and develop their talents.
The Performing Arts School emphasizes a hands-on approach, allowing students to interact with their peers as they discover the joy of performing. All classes are designed to help students build confidence in their abilities and encourage creative expression. With qualified and experienced instructors, the school provides an environment where students can feel comfortable exploring their passions.
Young performers can take advantage of the school's specialized classes, which focus on building skills and developing their craft. From acting and improvisation to singing and dancing, these classes provide a fun and engaging way to learn. The school also offers open mic sessions, which allow students to showcase their skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Featuring songs such as “I Hope I Get It,” “One,” and “What I Did for Love” from the hit Broadway musical: A Chorus Line, Broadway Babies will learn and develop theatre, acting, and dance skills in a supportive and fun class environment. In addition to providing a foundational theatrical education, Broadway Babies will develop life skills in self-confidence, public speaking, and collaboration with others. Jr. Performance Team
This class will feature repertoire from the Broadway musical Beetlejuice. In this class, students will work on songs such as “Dead Mom,” “Say My Name,” and “Jump in the Line.” The Jr. Performance Team is for students who are looking to grow as performers and expand their skill set. Students will be asked to memorize songs, dances, and scenes while being stretched to try new things and explore their creativity. There is “No Reason” not to join us this fall for Jr. Performance team.
Featuring music from The Greatest Showman, this class will explore the world of musical theater through acting, song, and dance. This class is a great fit for students who want to learn more about performing on stage. They will perform songs such as “A Million Dreams,” “This is Me,” and “Never Enough” while expressing their own individuality, learning new skills, and having fun. So, “Come Alive” and join us in Broadway Kids!
