Our coaches at Lowell Basketball Club are committed to teaching the game and helping children reach their goals.  We seek to instill real basketball values in our players by teaching them the importance of hard work and dedication.  Our coaches are dedicated to building strong relationships with their players and helping them reach their highest potential.  We also aim to build strong relationships with our parents, to ensure that everyone is on the same page and able to foster a strong sense of team spirit and togetherness.  

At Lowell Basketball Club, we are dedicated to building a strong tradition of togetherness through the love of basketball and hard work. We strive to teach the game the right way, stressing the importance of fundamentals, hard work, dedication, respect, and building relationships. Our coaching staff is committed to helping each player reach their highest potential and foster a strong sense of team spirit and togetherness. With the help of the community, we are looking to build a strong youth sports program that will last for years to come.

Basketball

Inexpensive

Wednesday (5:45) PM Level Based (Ages 6-15)
Prospect will cover the fundamentals of basketball such as ball handling, passing, and intro to layups. In this level of basketball, we will start to push the kids to perform these moves correctly.  We will also start working with two basketball in this group understanding hand

Prospect

Starts Wednesday 7:00 PM Level Based (Ages 7-15)
This class will focus on getting all of our players ready for the rising stars level. We will start working on implementing in-game moves such as layups, crossover behind the back, between the legs to balls and et.

 Rookie

Level-Based (Ages 7-15)
Rising stars are split into two days a week.  Workday we will be working on fundamental advanced ball handling skills, intro to shooting, and passing. On our playing days, we will talk about understanding spacing, passing, cutting, and moving without the ball. We try to at least get about 30 minutes of playing time on our second day.

Rising Stars

Ages 10 & UP ( Mondays and Fridays 8:00-9:00 PM)
 All-Star Level, players will begin competing more frequently in order to apply and refine the skills they have developed. Players will also begin to specialize and fit into more specific roles and positions. Team tactics and game strategy will also be further implemented at the All-Star level.
