Voice Lessons

Julie provides private vocal instruction at her Kinscheck Productions Studio in Billerica, MA as well as online. She can be hired for private or group coaching on location in the studio or at band or choir rehearsals. All ages (5-95), all abilities and all popular genres are invited!

Guitar Lessons

Julie offers 30/45/60-minute private lessons to students on a weekly basis. Instruction includes learning to play chords, grooves, riffs, scales, read sheet music, chord charts and TAB, music theory and of course lots of songs! Bi-annual recitals and student showcases give students of all ages something to work toward and gain experience and confidence in front of an audience. Discounts apply for advance purchase of four or more lessons at a time. Private or group lessons available. Ask about guitar classes for larger groups.

Songwriting Classes

Julie Kinscheck conducts songwriting workshops, specially tailored group courses or private songwriting instruction to individuals ages 10-adult. Elements covered include: Studying past and current hit songs, writing a good hook, composing lyrics to finished music, brainstorming techniques and developing what you want to say, considering rhythm and writing to a beat, effectively using imagery, creating meter and effective rhyme, point of view, writing for a theme or event, melody writing, song form, instrumental arranging for the band, co-writing, copyrighting/ protecting your music and so much more!
