At Munroe Center for the Arts, we offer a variety of classes and experiences for children of all ages and abilities. Our classes and programs range from music, dance, and theater to visual arts and creative writing. We also offer summer camps, field trips, and family art nights. Through our programs, we strive to engage, educate, and empower our participants to become creative, expressive, and confident individuals. BeAKid
Youth Ceramics
Students use the potter’s wheel and hand-building techniques to create from their imagination while learning form, texture, pattern and glazing. This class also practices cooperation and studio responsibilities. Projects are both functional as well as sculptural.

Youth Theatre
Join us for a fun and dynamic look at the world of theatre! Our class will work together on scenes from classic fairytales with a fun twist. We will use the fairytales to learn stage directions and theatre terms. Through improvisation games, character development and fun exercises with our work on the scenes, we'll be guaranteed a fun and entertaining adventure of our own!

Camps
The MCA summer arts programming inspires your child's imagination as we have fun creating and exploring in an interdisciplinary arts environment. Each week a new theme and classes unite ceramics, painting, problem-solving, and more with a fully integrated age appropriate curriculum. Kids make new friends, develop their creativity, and gain confidence through sharing and cooperation. Our staff consists of teachers trained in the arts, and counselors who have an interest in the arts - many of them being former campers! All of our staff are passionate about the arts, summer fun, and safety.
