MK Dance Center is dedicated to providing a safe and encouraging environment for all of our students, regardless of age and experience. At MK Dance Center, we believe that dance is an art form to be enjoyed by everyone. Our classes range from 18 months to adult and cover a variety of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and break dancing. We also have exciting boys-only classes and classes for adults of all levels. Our team is committed to helping all of our students reach their full potential. We strive to be the premier location for dance education and create a safe, nurturing environment for all of our students. We look forward to seeing you in class soon!

BeAKid
Dance With Me
(ages 18months-2yrs) An interactive dance class for our littlest dancers ages 18months-2yrs and one caregiver. Dancers & their grown-ups start in a circle with a greeting dance, and then follow along as we explore movement using props such as scarves, wands, and hula hoops, as well as dance games!

Teeny Dancers
(ages 2-3yrs) The perfect class for your little mover! This class is open to dancers ages 2-3 who are ready to take class independently. We start with a greeting dance, then follow along as we explore dance movement using props such as scarves, wands, and hula hoops, as well as dance games!

KID COMBO CLASSES
(ages 5-8) These classes are a natural continuation of our pre-school movement classes and also a wonderful introduction to dance for new dancers ages 5-8. At these ages, we aim to instill dance terminology & technique for several styles of dance while still incorporating props, dance games & creative movement to keep learning fun!

BALLET
(ages 9-12) Ballet is the subject most encouraged to any student, as the technique learned in class translates to all other forms of dance. Barre's work emphasizes alignment, poise, and proper execution of all steps. Center work emphasizes carriage of body, grace, and fluidity, along with performance skills. Across the floor, work incorporates jumps, leaps, and turns.

ACRO
Acro 1 (ages 5-7) / Acro 2 (ages 8-11) / Acro 3 (ages 12-18) With a focus on safe skill development, this class will build on the foundation of gymnastics. Students will focus on flexibility, muscle control, concentration, and balance skills, with an emphasis on the fundamentals of acrobatics that enhance other dance techniques!

Boys Tap/Jazz Combo
(ages 5-8, must be 5 by Nov 1st) Boys only! This class provides a comfortable atmosphere for boys to explore their love of dance. The first half of class works on rhythm, musicality, and the basics of the tap alphabet. Jazz adds a more dynamic approach to movement. Isolation elements are the focus in the jazz class, along with more progression work and simple combinations.
