About City Music-Leominster in Leominster, MA
City Music LLC is a family venture located in Gardner and Leominster, MA. It was founded by Marc Rines and Nancy Karuzis in 2003. Marc Rines is a seasoned musician and has been composing and performing since he was 18. He gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from his time at Acton Music Center, where he managed several programs and product lines. With Marc’s extensive background in the music industry, City Music LLC has been able to provide the local area with a one-stop shop for all their musical needs. The store has been well-received in Gardner and Leominster, as it offers a unique hands-on approach and a real understanding of what musicians require. In 2006, a second location was opened in Leominster, MA to meet the demands of the area. Marc’s son, Stephen, is now a partner in the business, enabling the family to continue to provide musicians with the best products and services.

City Rockers for Young Musicians
Children and teens – ages 12 – 16 years – can experience the fun and excitement of playing in a band. Get together with other players to develop and perform as a group at a public performance. This is an ideal opportunity for young musicians that want to connect with other players, and see what it is like to play in a band setting.

You can learn acoustic or electric guitar, bass guitar, or ukulele, in a variety of styles. Our teachers are professional performers and educators with years of experience. Most important, they love to teach the styles you love: blues guitar, rock guitar, metal, country, jazz, classical, calypso and more. We have private and group lessons for children and adults, at any level.

Piano and Keyboard Lessons
City Music has piano and keyboard lessons for all ages, and for any level. Children are often ready for piano lessons as young as age five – a trial lesson with one of our teachers can help determine readiness. Our teachers are highly qualified to teach children to adults, beginner to advanced levels; they make learning fun and rewarding. As with all of our music lessons, piano students are encouraged to participate in one of our “judgement free” recitals to demonstrate their progress.
