About Belvoir Terrace

At Belvoir Terrace in Lenox, Massachusetts, young girls can experience a summer of exploration and fun! This performing arts camp offers girls the opportunity to develop their skills in theatre, art, music, and dance with professional instruction. Campers at Belvoir will have six weeks of fun and growth that they will never forget. Girls will have the chance to build lasting friendships, while building their abilities in art, dance, music, theater and sports. There are plenty of traditional camp activities, such as campfires, socials, square dancing, carnival, bunk skits, cookouts, spirit day events, and more! Belvoir Terrace is the ideal place for girls to gain confidence, develop their skills, and have a summer of fun. With professional instruction, a supportive and happy camp community, and plenty of activities, girls will have a summer of exploration and growth.

Belvoir’s exciting and outstanding visual arts program offers a combination of professional teaching, small classes, and fun while exploring all the different art forms. Imagine taking classes in charcoal drawing, oil painting, ceramics, jewelry, digital photography, and more!

Belvoir Ballet
Belvoir Ballet offers a unique summer intensive training program taught by renowned ballet teachers–Dena Abergel, Jennifer Polyocan, and Pascale van Kipnis. Focus on advancing your ballet technique, strength, and creativity with classes in technique, pointe, variations, and collaborative choreography along with opportunities to study modern, hip-hop, tap, and jazz. Join Belvoir’s supportive community, improve your skills, build confidence as a dancer, and enjoy performance opportunities in our beautiful facilities. Students are encouraged to explore other performing arts opportunities at Belvoir: musical theater, visual arts, private music lessons, sports, and more. Your summer program will be personalized to meet your interests and satisfy your curiosity.

Dance at Belvoir!
Beginning through pre-professional classes are available in all styles of dance for every age group. Pre-professional focused dancers are challenged by the expert faculty and can choose three or more dance classes daily, six days a week. Beginning and intermediate dancers can also enjoy classes daily or three times/week. Belvoir offers professional instruction in classical ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, hip hop, choreography, and tap. Stretch/conditioning and yoga are also dance program electives. All dancers have an exciting performance opportunity during the summer! Classes perform in the Pavilion and Jessup Theaters at Belvoir or at the Boland Theater at Berkshire Community College, a nearby professional venue.
