About YWCA Camp Wind In the Pines in Leicester, MA
Camp Wind-in-the-Pines is the perfect getaway for your school-aged child this summer! Located on Stiles Reservoir in Leicester, this day camp is brimming with activities and fun. Campers can enjoy traditional camp activities, themed projects, and games, as well as take advantage of the beach and lake front property, boathouse and dock, recreation halls, ball field, and nature trails. Nature Session
Do you love animals, plants, and all things nature? Tap into your natural curiosity, learn about the world around you, and spend lots of time exploring the outdoors! You’ll participate in a nature scavenger hunt, make sand castings on the beach, and using found and recycled materials you’ll build a bird feeder that can hold a quarter cup of birdseed to be hung around camp.

America’s Birthday Session
This year we’ll be celebrating America’s 245th birthday! Campers will participate in lots of Independence Day-inspired crafts and activities, including a field day, shaving cream fireworks, and an air show with a patriotic glider that you’ll make and decorate with red, white & blue.

Space is the Place Session
You’ll be blasting off into space this week with lots of fun space crafts and activities. You’ll get to build a bubble powered rocket, make pipe cleaner constellations, learn the science behind static electricity, and how sunscreen protects you from the sun’s ultraviolet rays.
