Today, the YMCA of the North Shore is comprised of seven local YMCAs, spanning from Salisbury to Cape Ann. With over 160 years of service to the community, our YMCAs are dedicated to strengthening the spirit, mind and body of all who join us. We are proud to be a part of the rich and storied history of the North Shore.

Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras (NMYO) provides a unique opportunity for young musicians from over 50 North Shore, Cape Ann, Merrimack Valley, and southern New Hampshire communities to explore and develop their musical talents. Through ensemble training and performance, NMYO offers an enriching experience that goes beyond just learning an instrument. NMYO provides an atmosphere that encourages cognitive, social, and personal growth in its young musicians. Through the process, students can build upon their skills and understanding of music while also gaining confidence in their abilities. NMYO also encourages a sense of community by providing opportunities to serve through music. NMYO is dedicated to providing a positive experience for young musicians. With a focus on exceptional ensemble training and community service, NMYO is a great way for children to learn and grow while exploring their musical talents.

County Road Children’s Center is a non-profit daycare facility located on the beautiful campus of New England Biolabs. Children at the center range in age from one month to seven years. It is the goal of the County Road children’s Center to promote social, emotional and educational development by providing children with a loving, nurturing environment. We offer support for parents and children by providing a setting for living and learning together.

Parents in New England have the opportunity to take their children to see a modern dance performance in a theatre, school, outdoor space, or gallery. The Company has had the privilege to showcase their talent at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival over two summers in 2000 and 2001. Their Aerial Dance Theatre production, FREE FALL, was aired on British Cable TV, produced on the worldart.com webcast, and presented in the Boston Center for Art’s 2003 Spotlight on Dance Series. The Company has been participating in the Massachusetts Educational Collaborative for ten years, offering artist-in-residencies in public and private schools throughout the north shore area. The Company is proud to present ten to fifteen performances in Ipswich, Boston, and Newburyport annually. This is a great opportunity for parents and children to learn about and experience a different art form.

At Mariana's Dancing Studio, we strive to make every student feel welcomed and supported. Our classes are tailored to each student's individual needs. We strive to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all of our students. Our teachers are experienced professionals who understand the importance of providing quality instruction and giving every student the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Our Ipswich MA studio provides a variety of performance opportunities for our students, including a year-end recital, competitions, and collaborative performances. Our goal is to help our students grow as dancers and to build a strong foundation of technique and performance skills. For nearly four decades, Linebrook Farm has been providing horse boarding and riding programs for equestrians of all levels. Their 35-stall barn, plus indoor riding arena, two oversized riding rings, and miles of trails, provide plenty of options for riders of all ages and abilities. Instructors at Linebrook Farm have been training children and young adults in the art of equestrianism since 1978. From beginners to intermediates, their experienced staff offers top-notch instruction and guidance. To make the most of your equestrian experience, Linebrook Farm also offers summer camp programs. Guided by their expert team, campers will explore the trails and wooded riding ring, build their skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

At our school, there’s something for everyone! We offer a wide range of martial arts classes, including kung fu, kali, silat, Tai Chi and kickboxing. As students progress in their training, they reap the social, emotional and intellectual benefits. Our belt-ranked programs provide a way for students to track their progress, identify their goals and share their journey with others. We offer classes all day, six days a week, as well as Saturday afternoon birthday parties and seminars with martial artists from around the world. On Sundays, we hold classes in kali, tournaments, and seminars. For those looking for a more exciting experience, we have demonstration and tournament teams. Our Junior and Senior Teams perform at our five-week graduations and travel to events, while our tournament team competes in events. No matter what your interests, there’s something for everyone at our school!
