At our facility, we work hard to create a safe, healthy learning environment that helps each child reach their full potential. We provide positive guidance and support that will help children develop their social and emotional skills. We believe that every child should be treated as an individual and that individualized instruction is the best way to ensure that each child is challenged and encouraged. Parents can feel confident that their child will be supported and nurtured in our facility. We strive to create a safe and healthy learning environment that will help your child develop socially and emotionally while also being challenged and encouraged to reach their full potential. We will work together with you to ensure your child is getting the individualized instruction and positive guidance they need.

Infants

Our team of infant teachers are certified, educated early childhood professionals and are CPR and first aid certified. Each teacher is required to maintain their accreditation through professional development trainings designed to supplement their many years of experience with new ideas and up to date initiatives. Teachers plan and implement each curriculum based on the Massachusetts Early Learning Guidelines for Infants and Toddlers. As goals are set for individual infants, activities are provided and teachers document each child’s stage of development.

Toddlers

Each toddler room provides a nurturing learning environment, which allows your child to develop at their own pace. Children are provided with theme-based activities through art, fine motor, music, sensory, and more. We also offer an outdoor play area and an indoor gross motor room when the children are unable enjoy the outdoors because of inclement weather.

Preschool

We use a strong literacy-based curriculum that incorporates each area of academics daily. Our teachers plan and teach for each different learning style. At Basic Beginnings, we respect that each child is unique and strive to foster a positive attitude toward learning. Teachers promote learning and development through activities related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math), History, Language Arts, Phonics, and more while meeting each child’s individual needs.

Pre-Kindergarten

Our Pre-Kindergarten program is for 4 and 5 year olds. Here children will continue to learn and expand upon the same curriculum from our preschool program but with a focus on kindergarten readiness. Our goal is to teach children the necessary skills they will need to excel. Children enrolled within our pre-k program will learn skills such as reading, writing, simple addition, subtraction, and more.
