At Stacey Lynn Dance Center, we are passionate about developing talented, confident dancers and helping them reach their greatest potential. Our mission is to provide quality dance instruction in a positive and nurturing environment, while keeping costs affordable and offering personalized instruction to each student. We strive to provide a solid foundation for dancers of all levels, from recreational to competitive. 

Through dance, our students will learn more about themselves and their capabilities, build up their self-esteem and character, gain teamwork skills, and become a positive role model. As they hone their skills, they will also improve their posture, balance, flexibility, coordination, endurance, and physical fitness.

Affordable

 Ages 3-4     This class is for the little ones to learn the basics of dance and motor skills while interacting with other children.  Kids will enjoy using the gymnastics mat, musical instruments, and props.  They will discover a positive way to express themselves in an exciting environment.  Dancers will perform one routine in the annual recital.

Creative Movement

Ballet is the foundation of all dance genres and is recommended for all dancers in order to gain better body control, endurance, flexibility, self discipline, and coordination.  Our ballet classes stress proper body alignment and correct technique.  Dancers gain strength by learning skills at the barre, in center, and across the floor. Students will learn ballet positions and focus on terminology. Students advance to the next level by recommendation of the instructor.

Ballet

 Jazz is a fast paced dance class that focuses on technique.  Jazz encourages students to break out of their shell and acquire an individual style with originality.  Students will warm up and perform combinations.  Dancers will learn different turns, leaps, and jumps in an upbeat atmosphere. It is recommended that jazz dancers also participate in ballet classes, as it promotes grace and balance.
