Hélène's Stables, located in Groton, MA, is owned and operated by Hélène, a passionate equestrian and dedicated social worker. Hélène moved to Boston in 1986 and worked for a Child Welfare agency, teaching parenting skills to cognitively limited parents. After seven years, she chose to resign as the system was no longer meeting her expectations.
Hélène’s unique background has enabled her to excel in her business. Growing up in France, she learned to ride horses and dance, as well as creative arts and crafts from her mother, an artist. After graduating high school, she spent six years in Puerto Rico studying Graphic Arts. She later went on to earn a degree in Political Science, with a major in Russian, from New York University.
