About Beatz Dance Studio

At Beatz Dance Studio, we offer a variety of classes for children and adults of all ages. Our non-recital sessions for infants through age 10 are perfect for those who just want to learn dance and have fun. For those who are looking for a more performance-based experience, we offer recital-based classes in all genres for children aged 2.5 through adult. For those with special learning or physical needs, Beatz Dance Studio is pleased to provide private, semi-private or inclusive classes. Our instructors are experienced and certified to ensure that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience. At Beatz Dance Studio, we believe that everyone, regardless of age or ability, can experience the joy of dancing. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment, where all of our students can learn and grow.

Bitty Beatz Ballet
This class is for our tiniest dancers – Ages 2.5-4. In this class we will focus on the basics of Ballet including the terminology as well as movements in a fun and non-threatening way. Ballet provides grace, poise, and helps with posture, flexibility and fitness and supports coordination and balance.

Hip Hop
Hip Hop classes focus on learning the fundamentals of the many funk/ street styles under the dance umbrella of Hip Hop, while exploring the history of Hip Hop culture. Our beginner class will bring fun and energetic music and moves to your dancer's day! As we progress we develop our skills through hard work and dedication, and with improvement will come increasingly more difficult combinations and tricks. We deeply encourage a judgment free environment in this class that allows for freedom of expression through movement and creativity.

Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet and jazz dance that often uses music with lyrics to inspire the movements of the dancer. We utilize the lyrics from the song to inspire the dance and the result is a style that focuses on strong emotion as well as a more individual approach than other styles of dance. In this class we will spend time at the barre, across the floor as well as learning choreography and improvisation.
