RJay W11/03/20224.52For the past five years, my twin boys have attended the RSM MetroWest facility in Framingham, and I can vouch for the fact that this has greatly aided their acquisition of a firm foundation in complex mathematical ideas. Compared to what is taught in public schools, the curriculum is difficult and far more advanced. Fortunately, we had excellent teachers at RSM during these years who could inspire students to perform well in math. A huge advantage are the study guides and homework assignments. You can easily ace the coursework if you work diligently on your RSM tasks. If you are a committed RSM student and complete all of your tasks, you will undoubtedly benefit.
Ben A11/03/20224.28For the past four years, my kids have gone to RSM. They found it to be very beneficial in developing their mathematical abilities and making them more confident and competent in their middle and high school arithmetic. Children do receive homework that they must complete at home. However, I discovered that this was advantageous because additional practice did enable my children to solve math problems more quickly and comfortably.
Marc M11/03/20224.27Our children have both attended the Russian School of Math in Framingham, Massachusetts, for a number of years. One required a math boost for school, whereas our second child loves math and attends RSM for a math environment that is more demanding than what his school provides. The RSM curriculum is top-notch and sophisticated. The students benefit from having a head start on their schoolwork. One of our children enrolled in a competitive exam program run by RSM and did exceptionally well.
Gerry T11/03/20224.6For the past three years, my two children have been flourishing. They are more advanced than their classmates at school because they comprehend, complete their assignments with little assistance (only the occasional query), and do so (except those who also attend RSM or other math programs). The subject matter is challenging and well above the level taught in schools. They must thus be instructing kids there, in contrast to some generalizations made in some of the assessments here.
Derick V11/03/20224.34Over the course of my five years at RSM, my mathematical abilities have increased by 100%, and I have substantially profited. Although pricey, it is really worth it. However, the professors use a variety of teaching techniques, and occasionally they don't teach students successfully, giving the appearance that RSM is only in it for the money. However, if you find a competent teacher, the journey will undoubtedly be enjoyable and incredibly rewarding.
