Dear Families, Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people. Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment. At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new. Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special. The Sandpiper Nursery School has been designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and inspiring environment for young children. Our teachers and staff are passionate about helping kids develop the academic and social skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives. With an approach inspired by the preprimary schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, our program is tailored to each child’s individual interests. We offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for children between two years nine months and six years of age. We are proud to provide a supportive atmosphere for children to grow in and learn from.

Dream Tale Puppets is a unique theatre dedicated to providing the highest quality entertainment and educational experiences to children and families. Our performances use puppetry, theatre, and literature to explore the richness of theatrical and literary cultures around the world. We use our research and experimentation to develop innovative styles of puppetry, and to explore the relationship between the art of the actor, the puppeteer, and the visual artist. Our passion lies in creating meaningful and educational experiences for children and youth, and we are committed to working creatively to bring this to life.

At our facility, we are proud to offer year-round tennis instruction for children ages 4 and up. Our esteemed tennis coach, Kevin Pease, has a distinguished background in the sport. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he was a varsity tennis player, and has held national rankings in the game. In addition, Kevin has won the USPTA Coach, Pro, and Player of the Year Awards in New England. He is certified as a member of the USPTA(R), IFP, USTA High-Performance Staff, and Wilson Advisory Staff. Our goal is to provide your child with the best tennis instruction available, and with the assistance of Kevin Pease, we are confident they will reach their tennis goals. In 1968, the Falmouth Commodores were formed and were a charter member of the newly formed Cape Cod Baseball League. The team quickly established a reputation for producing competitive teams that were always a fan favorite. The Commodores have won three league championships, including back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018. The team has a long history of producing MLB players, with 35 Commodores having been drafted since 2003. Falmouth has a rich history with the Cape Cod Baseball League, having fielded a team every year since its inception. Baseball has been part of Falmouth’s history for many years, with games being played at the Central Park grounds in Falmouth Heights for the first 63 years of the twentieth century. Fans would sit on the grassy hill overlooking the field or in their cars parked along the first base side. The only drawback was a short right field, where balls would occasionally bounce off a house on Central Park Avenue and be scored as doubles. At one time, the team was called the Cottage Club, derived from the many summer cottages that were built at Falmouth Heights and where the players were lodged. The team has since changed its name to the Falmouth Commodores, and has established a reputation for producing competitive teams that have been a fan favorite for many years.

Tang Soo Do is designed to train both the body and mind, and to build strong characters. Through this Martial Art, students learn to strengthen their bodies, while also developing an inner peace and focus. Our classes teach effective self-defense strategies which students can use to resolve confrontations peacefully. This is a key part of the Martial Arts training, as it conditions the mind to use inner power and energy to help them stay calm and focused. In addition to the physical and mental benefits of Tang Soo Do, it is also a lot of fun! Our classes are designed to be a positive and uplifting experience, helping students to release stress and promote peace of mind. We work with our students to help them achieve their goals, while also learning valuable self-defense skills and how to resolve conflicts with non-violent strategies.
