Coach Jim Pereira is a highly experienced baseball coach and director. He is currently the Athletic Director of Diman Regional and was formerly the Head Coach and pitching coach at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, MA. He has also coached at Newbury College and was the pitching coach at Curry College, where his team was ranked #14 nation-wide. Coach Pereira has spent five summers coaching in the Cape Cod Baseball League and four summers as an assistant coach with the Wareham Gatemen. He was also an on-field director of all the Wareham Gatemen Youth Clinics in 2007 and 2011. For over twenty years, Coach Pereira has been running clinics and providing private lessons. He has also scouted for the Cincinnati Reds for 21 years. High school players who have gone through Proway Baseball's Ultimate Throwing Program have gone on to play for teams such as Stanford, Tulane, Temple, Fordham, Sacred Heart, Holy Cross, Northwestern, Charleston Southern, Harvard and Team USA. Six Proway Baseball alums have also been drafted or signed by a MLB team.

ULTIMATE THROWING PROGRAM
This licensed program utilizes the latest techniques in throwing a baseball. Each session will build the strength in the individual muscles, tendons, and ligaments required in throwing a baseball properly. The program also will strengthen your core and legs to build a more solid and balanced foundation to support the physical athletic action of throwing a baseball. Recordings of each session are used to accumulate data to assist in monitoring progress in each individual area. Each session will last approximately 90 minutes. This program has been proven to increase your velocity 3 to 10 MPH.

pitching/ hitting lessons
Proway's pitching or hitting lessons take you past the mound or batting cages. Proway uses computer calculations to add science to your pitching motion or swing. Drills are designed to reinforce the lessons and enhance what is being taught and learned. Drills, more importantly, are designed to individualize each and every athlete. These individualized drills will increase the skills the athlete will need to move on to the next level of play.
